Leeds RAG
(Raise & Give)
 

Leeds Raise and Give (RAG) is the official, student-led fundraising and volunteering society of Leeds University Union. We are a student-orientated society that works to fundraise and support our main charity partnerships through organising events, projects and challenges, whilst providing students with exciting experiences to help them love their time at Leeds. Alongside fundraising, we aim to give our members the opportunity to develop vocational skills through leadership and the experience of organising charitable events.

 

We seek to work with responsible partners and run most of our activities ‘in-house’. Thus, we can provide ample opportunities for our members to engage in the fundraising process and minimise expenses. This also ensures sustainable development for our fundraising activities for future years. We actively pursue collaborations with other societies in Leeds University Union to facilitate the fundraising of all students at the University of Leeds.

 

Through the years, Leeds RAG has supported a wide variety of local, national and international charities. This year we will be focusing on supporting our four local charity partnerships alongside the reinvigoration of our longstanding international partnerships. Our charities are always at the centre of what we do. We wish to raise awareness of their invaluable work, and fundraise as much as we can, with your help!
