If you’re passionate about fundraising and helping your local community, then we are the society for you. We hold various fundraising events and volunteering projects throughout the year, as well as celebrating days of diversity and equality through engaging activities on campus. You’re welcome to participate as much or as little as you want to. If you want to be a contestant on Leeds RAG Take Me Out, volunteer in India or attend a pub quiz, the opportunities for you to get stuck into uni life are right here with us.

Your Leeds RAG events team have your social (and dating) calendar sorted for 22/23!
Whether you want to get involved in the organisation of these events and
be on committee, be a participant, or simply come along as an audience
member, there is something for everyone at our event fundraisers.

This year we are putting lots of effort into organising projects within Leeds, Yorkshire and wider England. There will be lots of opportunities to volunteer within the local community. From bucket collections and sponsored events to buddying schemes and mentoring, there will be plenty of great activities to get involved in while supporting our four amazing partner charities.

These three life-changing events are all to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK, Women for Women International and the National Autistic Society respectively.

If you wish to make a difference in your local community, make sure you come and get involved in RAG Week, Leeds RAG’s annual weeklong charity event!
During RAG Week, we organise some fun events through which we raise some valuable money for our Community Fund, a pot of money that helps us to support strictly local grassroots charities in carrying out their operations. Help us like Parkinson up green this Feburary by joining a RAG week event!
We support two incredible grassroots and sustainable charities outside of the UK. Every year we send volunteers to work with these handpicked charities, and we're proud to say after two long years of COVID we are officialy back to volunteering!
