If you wish to make a difference in your local community, make sure you come and get involved in RAG Week, Leeds RAG’s annual weeklong charity event hosted in Feburary!

During RAG Week, we organise some fun events through which we raise some valuable money for our Community Fund, a pot of money that helps us to support our local charities in carrying out their operations.

Every year, we organise the famous Michael Sadler Abseil, which means you get to abseil down one of the tallest buildings on the Uni of Leeds campus! The experience is definitely an exhilarating one and will give you that rush of adrenaline that you might need when you’ve been drained from doing coursework. Besides this, you will be treated to an incredible view from the top.

If you would prefer to take part in less adventurous and daring events, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We also organise pub quizzes, open mic nights, fairs, master-classes, and many more exciting activities. Taking part in RAG week is a great way to make a difference while having loads of fun. There will be something for everyone and from all of us here at RAG, we would love to see you there!
